Chicago 2006
March 2006 - I joined my sister, Shari, in Chicago, where she was attending an educational conference. What a great city!

Houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
There's quite a variety.
I went on a walking tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District.
I think this one is a little crazy...
...but, neat!
Another interesting design.
Asian influenced.
Okay, I wouldn't want him designing my home.
But, they are pretty fascinating.
Odd little turret.
Frank Lloyd Wright designed home.
Doesn't look like something he designed, but he did!
More FLW homes.
It was dang cold and it started snowing at one point!
FLW strikes again.
After the walking tour of homes...
... I joined a guided tour...
... which took us inside FLW's studio, shown here, and his home.
The interesting octagonal ceiling was partially supported by chains.
Neat houses on my way to the L station.
Inside the High Risk Gallery, pieces from the American Mosaic Project.

Shari and I obtained tickets from HotTix, a half-price theater place.
We saw a well-performed and hilarious David Mamet play, "Romance".
