August 17-22, 2005 - Wherein I visit Hideki in Houston.... hot, humid Houston. But, it was fabulous anyway!

Flying to Houston. Beautiful clouds and landscape. Luckily, use of an electronic device didn't crash the plane... this time... ... World's most beautiful elevator inside the Museum of Fine Arts. Inside Johnson Space Center Historic Mission Control at NASA It's a red phone! Gosh, I love red phones. It's totally tiny in here... nothing like I expected. Rocket engine Yep... close-up of a rocket engine. Rockets are cool! Another engine! Looks kinda robot-like. Inside a shuttle--used for training. Hmm... how do you steer this thing and where's the clutch?
