Help provide money to Park High School

Help Park become eligible to win $5000 toward the purchase of a new field house sound system! Red Gold Tomatoes website is offering $5,000 to the school with the most points. Points are easily earned by going on the website and registering your name and email address. Please go to www.redgold.com/milwaukee and select "Washington Park HS" so Park can start earning points today! Germantown is in first place with 446 points. Park is in 4th place with 72 points and Horlick is in 5th place with 66 points. Please vote and ask all of your friends, neighbors and relatives to vote so we can pass up Germantown.

This is a very easy way for Park High School to earn $5,000. Please log on to the web site yourself and encourage other Park High School faithful to do the same.

Jazz Concert - November 10

This is reminder that there is a Jazz Concert, Tuesday, November 10 @ 7:00pm.

PTSA Fund Raiser with Dominos - November 12

On November 12th, 20% of your Dominos pizza order will go to Park High School PTSA when you provide them with a completed fund raiser form. Fill out the form and give to a Dominos worker on any carry-out or delivery order.

Athletes need Practice Permits for Winter sports season

Any athlete who is planning on trying out for Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Swimming, or Wrestling will need to obtain a Practice Permit from the Activities Office before you will be allowed to try out for the team.

If you were not out for a Fall sport, you may need to have an athletic physical in order to obtain a Practice Permit. To get more information on the start dates for tryouts and the deadlines for obtaining a Practice Permit, go to the Sports link of the Park High School web site.

You are encouraged to schedule for an athletic physical immediately in order to receive your Practice Permit in time for try outs.

Click on Winter Sports Information for more details on the beginning of the Winter sports seasons. Schedules are available on the team web sites.

Soccer Banquet Information

Boys Soccer Banquet is Monday, Nov. 9, 5:30pm at Buena Vita. All money must be to Coach Maletis by Wed. Nov. 4th. All Players should bring in a case of red, blue, purple Gatorade. All players must turn in all soccer uniforms.

Football

All football players turn in equipment after school. Football banquet will be held Nov. 16 at Roma Lodge time 6pm.

All parent(s) / guardian(s) of all the female basketball players in grades 9 - 12 are invited to meet the coaches and hear team goals and expectations for the 2009 - 2010 Girls Basketball Season.

There will also be a Panther Backers meeting from 6 - 7 pm to follow!

International Club - November 10

International Club will meet Tuesday, November 10, at 2:45 in room 321. We will be dicussing our trip to the Christkindl Markt (German Christmas Market) in Chicago, and Tara Cork will be sharing some of her experiences last year in Thailand as an exchange student. New members and guests are welcome.

Park Theatre Company - November 20

Park's Theatre Company will present for one performance only Wooing Wed Widing Hood on November 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $2. Come see this fractured fairy tale about Little Red Riding Hood and her three sisters as they are courted by Three princes, Strong Prince Justin, Wise Prince Jason and Loud Prince Frank. A delightful story for all ages.

Fall Play - December 3, 4, & 5

The Park Theatre Department will present The Diary of Anne Frank December 3,4,5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be $4.the play is adapted from the original script by Wendy Kesselman and takes a new look at Anne, exploring and revealing feeling she had about boys and her relationships with her parents.

HOSA Blood Drive - November 10

The annual HOSA Blood Drive will be held on November 10th in the Old Girls' Gym. Contact any Health Apprentice members to sign up

Campus Life meets on Wednesdays

Campus Life meets on Wednesdays at the Tyler Domer Community Center. All students are welcome to attend Campus Life. Freshmen and Sophomores must have a pass from their sub-school to attend. Pizza and Soda is available for $3.00. Meetings are during all lunch periods.

You'll find out about the latest high tech careers and how to become a high tech professional.

See your counselor for more details and permission form. This is a free field trip. You'll be gone 3rd, 4th and 5th hours on the 11th.

This field is trip sponsored by Gateway Technical College and Racine Unified School District.
