The ultimate, all-purpose resource for students of mathematics. Dr. Math contains an archive of past math questions asked to faculty of Drexel University, pertaining to many mathematical subjects in elementary school, high school, and even colle ge. Also, students may submit questions to Dr. Math to get hints on how to solve math problems.

 
A Homepage for New Math Teachers

A winner of multiple online educational awards, including the 2001-2002 Golden Web award, Terri Husted's web page contains a plethora of resources pertainant to first year teachers of mathematcs. Included on the site are example lesson plans tha t integrate different concepts and topics, such as diversity, problem solving, and the internet. In addition, the site contains numerous links to other websites with even more information. This is defintely a great web resource for any new Math teacher.

 
Bamdad's Math Comics

Humor is a great way to introduce math subjects to students. This website contains hundreds of comic strips that are related to math, from Dilbert to Calvin & Hobbes.

Math Teacher Link is a Professional Development Consortium; it is "designed to deliver professional development opportunities and classroom resources to teachers of mathematics, statistics, and related subjects at the high school and lower divis ion college levels." This well developed resource contains information on how to integrate technology into their teaching, as well as provide links to outside sources to find durther information and a message board for teachers to post their comments and questions.
