I am an Apple fanatic. I have used Apple computers starting with my good old Apple IIgs over 13 years ago. Since then, I have purchased two computers and am currently the owner of an Apple iBook. I am a
staunch believer that Apple hardware and software is a better teaching tool than Microsoft software and generic PC hardware. A comprehensive study compiled here illustrates my beliefs. |

In additon to using Apple products, I develop my own. I use the Java and Objective-C programming languages in combination with Apple's revolutionary Cocoa API's to quickly and efficently develop software for myself and the mac community as a whole. I even have my own company, mainly maintained by myself, called Humongous Elephants and Tigers. I even have a shareware product that I'm making some money off of, called Alarm Clock S.E. All my development is specifically for Mac OS X. |

In addition to computers, I like watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs. Even though they may not ever win a World Series in my life time (or my grandchildren's life time, for that matter), it's still
fun to root them on. And there is no other ballpark in Major League Baseball like Wrigley Field. |

I also enjoy reading Dilbert comics and watching Star Wars movies. Hopefully Episode 3 will be better than Episode 1 and 2, but we'll see if George Lucas puts more time into a good story line and character development than expensive graphics and battle scenes that look so much more advanced than the battle scenes in the future (look at the battle scenes in "A New Hope" and "Phantom Menace" and you'll see what I'm talking about). |
