Date: Fall 2001 Artifact: Email Project with Community High School Description: As a class project, I emailed a student from a high school in a neighboring community for over a month. In the emails between my student and myself, we discussed issues of the essence of math, adolescent problems and challenegs, and my students interests, dreams, and desires for the future. Date: September 23, 2001 Artifact: Annotated Bibliography Description: In a group, three classmates and I read 16 scholarly sources on several topics related to teaching, including technology and professional development. In addition my group put together an awards ceremony called the "Abby" awards, a small skit to illustrate the best information we had obtained from our research. Included are my four sources on the topic of technology in the classroom with a brief yet detailed summary of each article. Back to the Standards. |
