Date: November 27, 2001 Artifact: Student Profile Description: For seven weeks in a junior high, I observed a student whose was different than myself. Through my observations and individual interviews with my student and my students teacher, I put together a paper analyzing his success in school and what factors effected his sucess. Date: October 24, 2002 Artifact: Praise Analysis Description: This paper analyzes how praise given to all students, and specifically those with disabilities, effects how they behave. Specifally, it argues that although praise is beneficail, it can only be beneficial if it is sincere; in fact, some students who are constantly praised may become "praise junkies" and unable to function without it.
