Wargames
and
papersoldiers page

This site contains the papersoldiers I draw to play wargames. My interests span from Renaissance to Napoleonic wars with a main focus on XVIII century. I like to play battles and not skirmishes or parts of battles, therefore I like to play rules like Volley and Bayonet and the DBA/DBR/HFG kind of rules.

For each battle I shall provide historical order of battles, scenarios with one or more of the said rules, an historical account, some pictures and of course the downloadable jpg or pdf files with the papersoldiers. Some of them are original artwork, other are modified from the artist Patrick Cruseau works.

The papersoldiers can be dowloaded also from Paperworlds: links to websites of general interest are provided in this page as well as in the various pages dedicated to each battle.

Please remind that this not pretends to be an historical site, rather it is the work of an "hard-bolied" boardgamer, wargamer and "dilettanti" historian. Comments and suggestions are of course welcome.

The battles:

Lutzen 1632

Bonaparte in Italy

Rivoli 1797

Waterloo 1815 (coming soon: downloadable at Paperworlds, old files Archives)
