HIKING TOUR (min. 3 people, 15 euro) To be paid in RON according to the exchange rate, every day.
We'll pick you up after you phoned us in front of 'The cultural heritage information centre' on the citadel in Sighisoara at 11:00 o'clock. If you want to be picked up anywhere else in Sighisoara or Medias let us know before 10:00 o'clock in the morning please.
From here we will bring you by car to Valchid, from where we will start a hike through the forests and hills of this area. A guide, sometimes supported by the local forester will show you the most beautiful and interesting parts of nature. The hilly slopes are steep and sometimes muddy, make sure you take the right shoes and clothes with you. There is a great chance of seeing bear and wolf traces, and you will probably see loads of birds. Bring your binoculars and camera as well, this is going to be a great experience! The trip is around 15 kilometers. We bring you back to the place where we picked you up off course!

The fortified Church of Biertan was the Evangelic Episcopal See for 300 years ( 1572 – 1867), and the religious centre for the Saxons in Transylvania.one of the most important Saxon villages with fortified churches in Transylvania, having been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1993.This historic monument, an arhitectural masterpiece,is illustrative for the entire area which was colonized by the Saxons of Transylvania.
Out of a total of almost 300 fortified churches built between the 15th and 16th centuries, the church from Biertan preserved very well its previous aspect.
This edifice is placed high on a hillock right in the centre of the village, in the center of the transverse valleys borded by vineyards, maize cultures and forests. The guided tour takes about 1'5 hour, after which you'll be brought back to Sighisoara.
