My Bio
For years I’ve looked for a way to share the joy, inspiration and profound challenges I’ve experienced as a mother. As a parent coach, I’ve found a way to share what I’ve lived and learned. I’m currently finishing my certification as a parent coach at the Parent Coach Institute in Seattle. I’m also designing a class to teach mindfulness in parenting.
The program at PCI is a comprehensive, graduate level certification that has given me the opportunity to connect the beliefs and principles I value as a mother and a professional. My studies in childhood development, media literacy and educational philosophy have all furthered my commitment to helping families.
I have worked with home schooling families and as a freelance writer. In the past few years I’ve grown as a poet and have published several pieces. I have a BA degree from Rutgers University in Theater Arts. Currently, I’m active in my daughters’ school community, working with students on reading skills and mindfulness in the classroom.
My daughters and husband have taught me much about grace, love and our deep connection to the world. I’m grateful to them and pleased to have the opportunity to help others create joy and peace in their lives.

What is Parent Coaching?
Is your child struggling in school? Are you over-scheduled? Having a new baby? Or are you working more and finding less connected, fun time with your family? Have you forgotten what’s it feels like to spend time alone? Parent coaching may be just the thing for you.
Imagine talking once a week with a really supportive friend who also has a background in childhood development and uses techniques to draw out your inner strengths and those of your family. Imagine working one-on-one with someone who can help you handle challenging situations with inward grace, hope and creativity.
This is parent coaching. It's quite a simple practice of finding what works in a family and using those strengths to start changing the areas that aren't working. A parent coach can help you identify your abilities and goals so you're comfortable navigating situations as they arise.
The coach-client relationship is built over time on trust, openness and positive results. Working one-on-one means your coaching sessions are tailored specifically to the needs of you and your family.
Parenting provides a wonderful opportunity for personal growth. In taking care of our children, we find strengths, shortcomings and abilities we didn't know we had. A parent coach can help you recognize and uncover your hidden gifts. This, in turn, helps you build confidence and authority as a parent to make changes that bring peace and harmony to your home.
