I saw him when he joined one of my favorite series a long long time ago, Growing Pains. Since then I started loving him. This is very weird, and I have to clarify that it is the first and only time in my life I've done this, but when he left the show I actually wrote him a poem! I never sent it but I was very sad when I saw that episode! I know it was a corny thing to do but it gives you an idea of what an impression this guy made on me from the first time I saw him, not just from how cute he was because there are many cute guys out there, but how good he must be to make an impression which remains after all these years. Leonardo has proven once and again what an amazing actor he is, and anyone who dares to deny it hasn't seen him in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, This Boy's Life (even costarring with the best actor ever, Bobby DeNiro, didn't keep him from shining), The Basketball Diaries, Total Eclipse, The Departed, etc. Leonardo is someone worthy of having an eye kept on him. I've been doing it for over 10 years and it's been a pleasure.
