A Closer Look Inside
                 ..................
The Sum Of Its Parts

Although the internals may seem intimidating at first, most of the components make sense and are relatively easy to identify.

Inside From Rear
The Boiler
The boiler is immediately obvious while the pump is hidden behind it. It measures 16.0 cm (6.3") long by 9.8 cm (3.86") in diameter. This works out to just over 1.2 liters in total volume. Also, as I understand it, the heat exchanger is located in the bottom half of the boiler to maximize temperature stability of the brew water.
The fixtures on the boiler, left to right, are:
-pressurestat control connection and vacuum breaker
-internal water (autofill) detector
-safety pressure valve
-steam connection
Adjusting Pressure
***
The Pressurestat
The pressurestat is very sensitive to any adjustment. Turning it to the '+' sign increases boiler pressure. A turn of about 1/8 of a turn will increase pressure by about 0.1 bar.
