Euro 2000 Junior Opened!
                 ..................
Opening It Was Easy

Removing the outer shell of the Junior entails removing two screws. First, unplug the machine. Next, slide off the 'heating' tray. There are four screws. The two outer ones hold the external shell. Unscrew them and slide up the three-sided external shell. (Reminds me of the old Macintosh Quadra 650.) The water tank and internal steel separator panel will be visible.

Complete Access
To remove the internal steel separator panel unscrew the other two screws located at the top. Be careful with the wires that connect to the detector under the steel panel.
Once you separate the steel panel, lay it down to have complete access to the Junior's internal components. Access will be possible from the rear, sides and top. The pressure-stat control is located above the boiler on the left hand side (as viewed from the rear of the Junior). In the picture it can be seen just left of the center of the image. The control can be adjusted by using a regular screwdriver, but be careful since it is very sensitive.
Unexpected Surprise
***
Internal Beauty
It turns out that the Junior has beauty that is more than skin deep. After removing the outer shell and the water tank, one is left with a gleaming steel panel that is inside the machine. This panel houses the sensor that detects the weight of the water tank and shuts off the machine if the water level (weight) falls below about 0.7 liters (700 gr).
