I left Adelaide early this morning to drive home
via the Barossa...I've never seen that part of the country, and I still haven't!
The whole area was clouded in a thick heavy fog. At least I got to use the fog
lights! I stopped for a yummy breakfast in Angaston - freshly baked baguette
with local ham and brie, Very indulgent! The trip from there to Swan Reach was
a surprise - You drive down into a river valley (there was actual water running
through! haven't seen that in a while!) and the hills were green and rolling.
There is one of those cute ferries across the Murray at Swan Reach and then it's
on to Berri and Renmark, Ouyen, Donald, Avoca, Ballarat and a long long long
trip home! I'll have to do it again - but will plan to stay overnight on the
Murray somewhere,
