Fox's "24" Could Become Boring In Episodes to Come

Critics are turning their acclaim to disdain for Fox's breakthrough television program, "24." The first of it's kind program runs in real time, where one minute of the show equates to one minute of real life.

The show has developed an impressive viewership, however it looks like many people will be changing the channel in the weeks to come, said entertainment consultant Tony Lee Hardson.

"In two weeks, I heard Jack Bauer is going to walk into a toilet stall and not appear in the next half hour of the show," he said. "It's a neat concept, but people don't watch TV for real life."

Episodes likely to air next month will show Bauer waiting for 20 minutes in a McDonald's drive-thru lane only to later complain because he was given the wrong McMuffin. Another episode will feature the presidential candidate practicing a campaign speech for a half hour straight. Some look forward to those episodes.

It's been non-stop action for four straight weeks, so it will be refreshing to watch something as mundane as a good bowel movement, fan Tina Rumdee said.

"It's real life baby," said Ronnie Topstad, a self proclaimed "24" fan who is still waiting for a woman to take away his virginity. "I like McMuffins too. I get mad when they give me the wrong one."
