Vegetarian Enjoys Cheeseburger

LOS ANGELES -- A lifelong vegetarian started adding beef to her diet this week after mistakenly eating a cheeseburger in sauve Hollywood theme restaurant.

"I ordered my garden burger like usual," 23-year-old Julia Schmick said Monday. "I knew something wasn't right when I bit in and it actually tasted good." The juicy char-broiled burger, topped with two slices of cheese, ketchup and mustard was the best thing she ever tasted, she said.

"I took off the lettuce and tomato because I didn't want to spoil it with that damn rabbit food," Schmick said.

Schmick, who many times said she morally opposes the killing of innocent animals, amended her beliefs while waiting in line for two all-beef patties on a toasted sesame seed bun. She now says she morally opposes the killing of innocent animals unless they're served with crispy french fries and a large ice-cold drink.
