In 1988 and through 1989 I worked on a large painting called "Garden of Eden". This work, which was done at a a time when I produced mostly large bio-morphic works, was the largest canvas I had attempted to paint at the time. The painting was part of a series that included Amazonas, Chatal-Huyuk, Palenque, and others.

Garden of Eden went through a couple of transformations. Here are pictures of the painting, and a couple of studies for it.
