Plant Checklist for Blue Sky Ecological Reserve

Compiled January 2, 2007 from voucher data provided by the participants of the Consortium of California Herbaria, CalFlora species data, Tom Chester's database of Southern California plants, and the personal obervations and identifications of Marsha Hanson which she made over the period of 1992 to 2006 and documented in a list entitled Plants of Blue Sky Ecological Reserve. Most of the herbarium specimens were collected by A.C. Sanders in 2005. The scientific name of all plants are current names as defined by the Jepson Flora Project. The "R" column indicates plants which appear in one of the CNPS (California Native Plant Society) lists (1B,2,3,or 4) of rare and/or endangered plants. The "N" column identifies plants that are non-native with an "I" (introduced).
