This page was originally designed for Insieme-together Magazine in 1997. I was a key player in the publication of this magazine. If you Google insieme-together you'll find a number of references to the magazine. This was the first website I built.

The Summer of '96 was when I started to get serious with both video and animation. The little images below were all frame grabs from VHS using a horrible little program by Avid called VideoShop. I was running a Mac 8500 which had S-Video and RCA A/V in and out. For a camera I was using a Canon ES2000, Hi-8. It still works great 10 years latter. The 8500/150 is in a closet somewhere. The biggest problem for me was that the hard drive was only 2 GB. The first two video cameras I owned from '90 and about '93 were both stolen; along with the memories.

Since the magazine no longer exists I've decided to put it up here. I'm still a little proud of the map. I couldn't find a simple map of Italy to scan and trust me, I had a lot of resources. So I drew one, scanned it and made this in Photoshop. That map below is freehand pencil and paper.

This is a little tour of Italy I was putting together. The two regions that are linked are Toscana and Campania. I had several text files for some of the other regions but they disappeared somewhere. There probably is more than one bad link in there. Italian sites also seem to go up and down with some frequency.

Toscana and Campania are Clickable
