Concepts In Motion
Challenging Established Norms and Upsetting Conventional Wisdom

Last Updated: 6/19/03

A long time ago, when cell phones started to have reliable data connections, it was dreamt that one day the world would have a PDA with a full time internet connection. Along came Palm and its kin, but without an internet connection. Seeing this, a bunch of bright folks asked "What the hell were they thinking?" The next day, okay, several years later, Danger introduced the Hiptop (a.k.a. T-Mobile Sidekick). After its release, and a bit of SW massaging inside and out, the first Hiptop SW SDKs were released to the developer public (March 19, 2003). Available on Danger's developer website, this SDK is just what was needed to let loose the creative energies of class dodging college students around the world.

This web site is our gift (a white elephant distraction?) back to the Danger developer community. The following projects and information are our attempt at understanding the abilities of the Hiptop and Danger's SDK.

How to setup OSX and Project Builder to compile and run the Danger SDK example applications.
