Urban Adventure
Here are a few photos of my walk from Burbank to the beach. Enjoy these photos of my Urban Adventure!!

Here I am ready to take off with my support team, Carol.
Looking across the LA River at the Glendale Power Plant.
I walked along this 'scenic' bike path that parallels the 5 Freeway.
Here I finally get to say goodbye to the freeway!
The William Mulholland Memorial Fountain, dedicated in 1940.
From this perspective, it looks like an accident waiting to happen!
The retro sign of the Hollywood Downtowner.
Competing commercialism by the Pantages Theater in Hollywood.
At the famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine.
My first milestone, 10 miles.
This was the first of 3 camera trucks I saw. This was at Hollywood & Highland.
Checking out the Chinese. (Theater not people.)
I like to think that my Urban Adventure was 'Fuel for the Soul.'
A colorful apartment building in West Hollywood.
Outstanding walking conditions in Beverly Hills.
Gotta love The Monster Trash Cans of Beverly Hills. (The green bins are normal.)
Horrible walking conditions in Beverly Hills.
I made it to Carol's old stomping ground.
My next major milestone, 20 miles, at the 405.
The other side of the West Side.
Hoofing it along San Vicente. This is where my feet started to hurt...a little.
The Brentwood Country Club.
I made it to the beach at last!
Palm trees at the beach.
Dino fountain on the Third Street Promenade.
The famous Santa Monica Pier.
And I thought I was going to be the only one at the beach.
Beachgoers.
Along the Venice Beach.
Venice Beach color.
This rollerblading, guitar playing, turbin wearing dude has been around forever!
Another mileage milestone, this time on the Venice Pier.
Surfing.
Sailing into the sunset.
You can't tell from this picture, but I can barely walk-33.5 miles from Burbank!
Thanks for checking out my photos. :-)
