Philadelphia Area Yeast Genetics Meeting was originally established by Drs. Shelley Berger and Edward Winter to promote active interaction of yeast researchers in the local setting. Researchers from Philadelphia area meet quarterly and disseminate their exciting findings in yeast studies. Currently, the meeting is organized by Drs. Eishi Noguchi, Edward Winter and Shelley Berger to further facilitate yeast studies in Philadelphia Area.
