Our company has many reasons to celebrate and be thankful as we enter the 21st Century — not the least of which is our sponsorship of the Bacardi Limited Biennial. It is with great pride to once again be the title sponsor of The Bacardi Limited Biennial Exhibition. Our involvement continues to demonstrate the Bacardi Family's commitment to the community of Bermuda. Their fundamental belief of being a good corporate citizen by investing in the local culture since Bacardi's arrival to the island in 1965 is true to form through this Bacardi Limited Biennia Exhibition. The Bermuda National Gallery celebrates its tenth anniversary and Bacardi rum is 140 years old this year. Bacardi Limited is delighted that The Bermuda National Gallery have opened their doors to the public at no charge for this milestone year. Bermudians and visitors alike are very fortunate to have this opportunity to freely explore Bermuda's contemporary art and be enriched with what the Bacardi Limited Biennial has to offer. Bacardi Limited would like to thank Dr. Virginia Mecklenburg and Dr. David Boxer for taking time out of their busy schedules to jury this exhibition. The artists and the National Gallery were fortunate to engage their expertise.
