artist statement
My creative work in wood sculpting has evolved during the last three-and-a-half years into the true passion of my existence. It is an intense expression of my deepest thougts and feelings... a moment when time stands still, though abounding with energy and exuberance. The experience is very much like looking from the inside outward and watching life pass by. in essence, sculpturing has become the nourishment for my soul and every facet of my being.
