artist statement
Food is a very sensual subject and normally appeals to the senses of smell and taste. It is generally photographed in colour, in order to be more appealing to the senses, but this series of black and white photographs was designed to focus attention on the innate beauty, and in particular, the form of things we frequently put in our mouths without further thought.
