artist statement
The inspiration for my paintings comes from the incomparable beauty of the natural world which will outlast anything humans could ever try to create. My spirituality which revolves around animals and the earth is the source from which I gather my paintings. I am attracted to round shapes that flow and twist, and the delicate beauty of tiny objects often overlooked. My latest series of paintings honour the objects that are sacred to me.
