Our Transit van has taken us safely on many adventures, the first was an unplanned trip to the Mediterranean coast. After a week in the Netherlands at Bergen Op Zoom, then Schoneveld, near Breskens. We travelled to Toulouse, then to Salou via Andorra. Along the coast to Italy then north through Switzerland and Germany to Home.

We have camped at -10C in the lake district, as well as 35C plus in Barcelona. Last summer we went to Rome, via Zurich, then on to Bosnia and Serbia. Crossing the Adriatic from Ancona.

This trip to the Arctic will have a more relaxed itinerary. We have planned more stops and opportunities to meet with Rotarians.

We use a simple Garmin GPS12, which provides position, altitude, and compass bearings, as well as some other measures. This with a Michelin map of Europe has been sufficient so far. Traveling through the Balkans last summer, we visited Mostar, Sarajevo and Novi Sad. Before staying over at Bratislava, passing through Prague, and then home.
