What You'll Need...
To install and compile Gnucash 1.8.8 or later on your Mac running 10.3 (AKA Panther) you will need to do the following...
(1) Download Fink from http://fink.sourceforge.net/download
Update: currently Fink Commander is pre-bundled with the fink package you will download.
(3) Install Apple Computers Version of X11
You can find X11 and the SDK on the 3rd CD, and the xcode development tools on the 4th CD of 10.3 Panther, or if you have bought a new mac running panther, you will find those items in the xcode tools folder in your ulitites folder.
