In the beginning, Luke sought an idealized master who was imposing and magnificent in appearance. By doing this, he overlooked the true master who was humble, small, ugly and unassuming in appearance. Luke was humbled when he found out the pesky creature whom he was rude and inconsiderate to was the true Jedi Master.
