Nancy Pelosi and the Capitol CatCam

Some people have their knickers in a twist about it...they need to chill

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has a YouTube channel. That's becoming more common these days, and now Congress has its own YouTube channel too.

In honor of the launching of the Congressional YouTube site, Speaker Pelosi has loaded a new video to her channel:

The Capitol CatCam

And oh, by the way, the Pelosi team participates in a time-honored Internet meme at about :37.

Now, at least one prominent blogger has his knickers in an absolute twist about it:

"This is the person who becomes President of the United States of America if the right two people go down. I’m moving to Canada."

It's in the comments...when people dare to disagree...that Mike really shows his infuriation.

I don't get it. It's fun; it's non-partisan; it's a harmless little nod to both the catblogging and rickrolling phenomena. It probably cost about, oh, I don't know...$0.00 to produce.

And it's brought at least a few people I know, including me, a chuckle.

What do you think?
