No one saw this coming? Really?Fancy that: A city zoo and a Christian
creationism "museum" not a good promotional match.
The
Cincinnati Zoo found itself in the middle of an unexpected uproar a couple of
weeks
ago.
Pourquoi? Because the zoo, an institution funded by a city tax, cooked up a package deal with The Creation Museum. A "museum" that includes a display of a triceratops wearing a saddle. Uh huh. You read that right. Anyway, funny thing happened on the way to promoting that package deal: bunches of people thought there was a disconnect between the underlying mission of each attraction. I got nothin' to add. Just thought this was a funny story of marketing gone awry that had nothing to do with bad pitches to bloggers :) Posted: Sun - December 21, 2008 at 07:45 PM EmailFeedback |
