Oakland gets some love from the New York Times

In honor of BlogSister and I going to see Seal tomorrow night at the recently refurbished Fox Theatre, here's a link to a New York Times travel feature on spending 36 hours in Oakland, CA...including a reference to the Fox.

I doubt Oakland, CA has gotten that kind of mainstream attention as a travel destination all that often, so thanks, NYT, for giving an unsung Bay Area city a little love!
