Co-founder of Farm Sanctuary comes to Palo Alto


He'll be at Books Inc in PA with new book

Gene Baur, president and co-founder of Farm Sanctuary will be in Palo Alto, Ca this coming Thursday to promote his book, "Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food." 

It's pretty timely given, particularly, the success of animal welfare legislation last November. Would love to hear Mr. Baur's thought on animal welfare vs. animal rights, particularly when it comes to public and political action.

Sadly, I have another commitment that evening. (The She's Geeky pre-dinner.)
