Including a little number from James Taylor, psychic

Have I told you, my blog readers, about how i know that James Taylor is psychic? No, not psycho...although there are reports he went through some tough times...but psychic.

Years ago my sister and I had a good friend who was a JT freak. So, one year for her birthday we took her to see him at the Greek in Berkeley. Awesome concert venue as most of you probably know.

For his final encore my sister, our birthday friend and two other women in our group went down to dance at the front of the stage. The boy in our group stayed in their seats like the big stick-in-the-muds that they were. JT did a number and left the stage, but we knew he'd be back for one more encore.

As he came back, walking toward center stage, he looked down into the crowd up against the stage, including us, and mouthed the words "Happy Birthday." No one else in the crowd reacted at all, all five of us noticed it and turned to each other in amazement. And each of the four non-Birthday girls admitted that they had been thinking as he walked back on stage "wouldn't it have been cool if we could have let him know it was Shari's birthday and what a big fan she is?"

I was definitely thinking this myself.

And the collective power of 4 young women thinking this must have reached his psychic self and spurred him to look right at us and wish a Happy Birthday!

Yes, we later tried to think of other explanations. but the fact is we all read his lips the same way, and no one else in the crowd seemed to even notice. Surely, if he had a friend in the crowd to whom he was wishing a Happy Birthday, they might have reacted, no?

So the only rational explanation: James Taylor, psychic.
