I Get Swept Up in the Cat-Blogging Backlash!

Oh, the humanity!

So I have cat-blogged here on this blog exactly once. Well, that is, if you define cat-blogging as posting pictures of your cat in lieu of a post. I obviously do occasionally blog about my cat, but that's totally different.

But now I have been taken to task by SwerveLeft for besmirching my serious political blog with cat-blogging. SwerveLeft even wants to start a new association Bloggers Against Cat-Blogging [BAC].

I lodged my formal protest of course. I don't think one official cat-blogging incident 2 months ago is grounds for censuring me, and of course this blog isn't really my serious political blog, that's over at the SCC DP site.

And why doesn't SwerveLeft mention the big-time Cat-bloggers, like Atrios and InstaPundit...not to mention AmericaBlog who has started Friday Orchid-Blogging!?

Oh, can't we all get along? The cat-bloggers, and the orchid-bloggers, and the mommy-bloggers, and the daddy-bloggers, and the left-bloggers, and the right-bloggers.

No, forget the right-bloggers. With Inauguration Day tomorrow, I don't feel like being that inclusive!
