Vienna In November 2004. the Turks have finally conquered Vienna, this time as tourists, with some English and Spanish friends in tow. A brief pictorial:

Eren & Defne are making love to the camera... whilst Cherry is doing the same to a beer bottle. The camera later catches Nick smooching Defne... Whilst relaxing in a Viennese pub. Cherry complains of sleepines... whereas Ana has no such qualms... posing wide awake in front of a fountain... and a large orange truck. Vienna has gorgeous buildings... most of them palaces... Now used as museums, concert halls or theatres. Maria Theresa memorial. A yellow Porsche. Another one. Unfortunate colour for a sports car, really. Black looks much better. This is the Natural History Museum... Housed in an impressive palatial building... With the cutest elephant statue in front. Inside are animals... Of all habitats. Yes, we found Nemo... and his uglier cousins... who have no glittering movie careers... Except for this guy, who auditioned for Forrest Gump. The museum building used to be a palace... so it has a magnificent high-domed ceiling... as well as gorgeous marble columns and floors. Many souvenir shops were selling colourful Turkish coffee cups. A candle-lit Viennese bar at night. This city's full of lovely churches and cathedrals. Inside one of the aforementioned cathedrals... One is treated to some fantastic architecture. The opera building with Nick and Defne... again, that pretty opera building, on its own. Pretty buildings everywhere in this city... and magnificent statues too. The Austrian President's residence has a square outside... which also serves as a pit stop for Vienna's famous, romantic horse carriages.
