Short week gets shorter

That time of year!

Well, while all eyes are on the gulf coast for Hurrican Gustav, Hurricane Hanna is expected to make landfall as a cat 1 or 2 hurricane between Savannah GA and Charleston SC Friday afternoon. yay. just what I need.

this could change as we still have a few days before its arrival but looks like I have to go to walmart and get batteries, water and start making ice.

I don't expect too much but 70 to 90 mile an hour winds can still cause major tree downage and power outages. (bright side is I might get out of work on friday!)

Today's update keeps it on course to hit us as a category one hurricane... usually these updates are all over the place but since it has been consistent for the past 24 hours it is a really good bet that I will only be working three days this week! haha!
At least I won't have to evacuate.  We are about 25 miles from the coast and a Cat one, although dangerous isn't a storm that requires mandatory evacuation unless you live on the beach.  I just have big trees to worry about.
