Trip to Canada
We took the ferry to Victoria today. That was the
first time I had been to Canada for about 5 years... Here's a picture I took of
my iPod reflecting the Empress Hotel in its metal backing.
We went to the museum there (I forgot what it was called), and there was a huge screen that shows a map of British Columbia and some other stuff. Unfortunately, they were using Windows XP to run it, which can only mean one thing: error messages. There was a 6 foot tall error message on the screen that said "Windows Media Player cannot play one or more files. Right-click the file, and then click Error Details to view information about the error." This is why I don't use Micro$oft... And there were at least 4 people taking pictures of it (including me)!
We're going home tomorrow. This will have been the longest trip we've ever made for a swim meet (9 days!).
