Stuff



I'm blogging for the sake of blogging. I can't think of anything to post...
I can't wait till Sectionals! We're going to drive up to Morton and spend the night there this wednesday and then go to Federal Way the next day for Sectionals. I don't swim till friday, but we have swim practice there on thursday. I'm swimming the 50 free, 200 fly, 200 free, 100 fly, and 1650 free.

I'm building a new rocket: Thor III. This one is longer than previous rockets I've made, and proportionally lighter. It's about 2 feet tall, and uses masking tape rather than glue in most places. I expect it will fly straighter than my previous models because of its length. Also, the detachable first stage connects to the rest of the body much better than my other rockets because it's made of a stronger material. So far, I have the body and the fins of the first and second stages built. I have yet to make the engine holders, parachute, and attach the nose cone. I'm going to try to have it ready to launch before Sectionals.
