The League City Historical Societypresents"Ghosts of the Past"A Blue and Gray TourSaturday, October 28, 2006The tour begins at the West Bay Common School Children's Museum located at 210 N. Kansas & Second Street. The Victorian Lady will present a twenty minute presentation on the customs of death and mourning, mourning jewelry, dress, and attire. Civil War re-enactors will be camped on the grounds, so arrive early to enjoy the soldiers and the Museum Exhibits. Not only is the presentation interesting but we guarantee a few laughs will be in the mix. Following the presentation................. A short drive to Fairview Cemetery located at the very end of N. Kansas on Clear Creek takes you to costumed "ghosts" that will lead you through the lives and times of Civil War Veterans during the walking tour, which is about 45 minutes. Dress warmly for cool weather and wear comfortable shoes. Be careful while walking the tour path as there are many obstacles within the cemetery grounds. Tickets are available at the Museum, Nana's Attic, Hole in the Wall Antique Mall and Queen's Crazy Kitchen. For ticket information call the museum at (281) 554-2994.

TOUR 1 2:30 The tour is not recommended for young children under the age of 9 or those with respiratory or heart problems. Wheelchairs may be difficult to maneuver at the cemetery grounds. LCHS reserves the right to cancel any tour due to weather or unsafe conditions. Take the tour at your own risk, people are dying to get in........
