Morning in Clear Creek

Clear Creek Naturally is an amalgam of wilderness, urban life, breathtaking sights, open air opportunities, actitivies, land and water treks and fun in the Clear Creek watershed. Owned, developed and managed by the Clear Creek Nature, Culture and Tourism Council, the web site is a celebration of all that is good in an area that embraces virtually untouched wilderness, a rapidly growing suburban life, contrasting work places and the relentless development and change that defines Texas. Like so much of the best of Texas, it represents undiscovered treasure - and this web site, the map for its discovery.

The Clear Creek watershed is located in southern Harris County - some 20 miles from the city of Houston. The watershed itself encompasses parts of Harris, Galveston, Brazoria and Forth Bend counties and touches 16 cities and five drainage/flood control districts. Clear Creek flows from west to east into Clear Lake and ultimately, Galveston Bay. Armand
