Quality Cuisine
We use special family recipes handed down for generations from Nazareth, utilizing fresh ingredients. Our dishes are made from scratch utilizing ultra lean cut meats and fresh vegetables. Our special style of cooking provides for very rich and robust flavors. We use special blends of spices depending on the dishes made to provide rich addicting flavors that are just spicy enough to make a difference and not to be hot to the taste.

Diversity
Your employees will experience a higher level of food service where they will have access to American foods that they recognize as well as foods from around the world. They will experience Mediterranean, including our special Nazarene cuisine, Greek, and Italian. We are constantly adding more choices to accommodate customer tastes. We customize our services for every cafeteria because we realize that what works in one cafeteria will not necessarily work for another.

As we do not require subsidy as a condition to operate the cafeteria at AVISTA, Azar’s Food Services becomes a good value. We are an entrepreneurial company and we will operate as such for AVISTA. Additionally, as we have proven after taking over the operation from Sodexho at TCS, we were able to provide a good value to our customers while remaining profitable. The reason that Azar’s can fulfill on this promise is that Azar's is a small and nimble company that can easily adjust to customer demands to keep them happy and gain their repeat business. Also, being small, we do not have the huge overhead that larger companies have, allowing us to provide value to our customers.

Special Diets
Going through the serving line, your employees will have many choices to accommodate their special diet needs. From the salad bar to the deli bar to the hot foods bar, everyone’s diet needs will be satisfied. Those who are looking for less fat and cholesterol may choose our healthy Mediterranean cuisine with markedly less fried foods or may choose the salad bar. Those on the Low Carb diets will find Atkins friendly choices. Even strict vegetarians will find totally vegan choices containing no meats or dairy ingredients. Since the introduction of our cuisine to Spokane in 1980, Azar’s had been and still is very popular in this community. You can clearly see the evidence of that whenever you go to any events such as Pig Out in The Park, the Forth of July Celebration and many other events. The lines for Azar’s are usually the longest. We plan on adding the same kinds of foods at AVISTA.
