D'Zaar (Azar's New Brand)
Background
The
Azar’s have been in business in the Spokane area
since 1973. Many retail establishments, including
restaurants, were owned and operated by the Azar’s
successfully. The Azar’s excellent cuisine and great
service had been the subject of rave reviews that were
published by the Spokesman review and various other
publications repeatedly over the years. Recently,
Victor and Viola Azar, a brother
and sister team, acquired a cafeteria contract with
Triumph Composite Systems (formerly, Boeing) in 2003 and
with AVISTA Corp in July of 2004.
D'Zaar
provides specialty cuisine as well as familiar American
cuisine. The employees of D'Zaar's client companies have
been introduced to healthy, tasty cuisine at a great value.
The Management and employees of TCS and AVISTA have been
very happy with our service. Please note the "What They
Say" section of this site.
D'Zaar (A New
Brand)
The Azar's have been associated with exquisite Lebanese and
Greek Cuisine since the late 1970's. However, Since Azar's
Food Service entered the cafeteria business in 2003, they
had to expand their menu offerings to provide a huge
rotation menu to satisfy all of their customers' tastes.
Therefore, the old brand "AZAR's" became limiting, given
that it is only synonymous with Greek food. This is when
the idea for "D'Zaar, Food Fit For Royalty" came
about.
