Basic Dyspnea Information

If you are troubled by Shortness of Breath that your Primary Care Provider cannot solve then your first step is to see a local Pulmonary Physician.

If you have seen a local Pulmonary Physician and you still feel that the problem has not been solved then we may be able to set up an appointment for you at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's Asthma and Dyspnea Clinic.

 To schedule an appointment at the Asthma and Dyspnea Center
 call Toby Grooms, MHA  at 617-667-4185. 

 Please mention to Toby that you were directed to her from the
 shortofbreath.org website.

 Rachel will ask you the details of your case
 and will help you decide if you should visit the clinic.
 
Rachel will also arrange to get your medical records
 and any tests you have had done.

 Once Rachel has received your medical records
 she will be able to schedule an appointment.

 The Asthma and Dsypnea Center is also able to provide information
 about local lodging and travel arrangements.
