Friday May 19th and Saturday May 20th, 2009
International Dyspnea Symposium
San Diego, California
We are holding the next symposium immediately prior to the American Thoracic Society meeting in San Diego. At the end of our successful first meeting in 2005 the participants asked us to hold another meeting 4 years from that date to build upon this initial success.
We've lined up a great venue on the campus of the University of California, San Diego in beautiful La Jolla. This time we have invited a renowned pain scientist to lead a session on the relationship between dyspnea and pain. Based on our last meeting, we expect a strong contribution from patients, researchers, nurses, physicians, and therapists.

We will issue a call for volunteer presentations in 2008, and hope to see reports of new research from many of you, so get busy, there is still time to get some data!
We will email more information in the coming months and the latest information will always be available at:

If you know a colleague who should be on our emailing list, please ask them to visit the above web page and sign up for our email list.
All enquiries about the meeting should be addressed to DyspneaCentral@mac.com
