November 15, 2006 My article, “’As Far From Secular, Operatic, Rag-time, and Jig Melodies As Is Possible’: Religion and the Resurgence of Interest in The Sacred Harp, 1895-1911” is in the Fall 2006 issue of the Journal of American Folklore (119: 413-443).
