Well, I started out this morning thinking I was just gonna help set this thing up and move over to the Kea Lani to setup their Christmas Party and run video over there. Two guys didn't show up to our call at the GW - two guys who just don't do that, so it was weird. Anyway...
I set up audio with Tim J and AVHQ's new guy, Kevin, until around 12-ish and then went over to the Kea Lani to set up their video. I had to fix the projectors (they put the lens in upside-down), make sure the folsum was working with the inputs, dial the projectors and folsum in, and then made it back to the Grand Wailea at 15:00 cause Erick needed an A2 for the show tonight...
I'm still backstage at the moment, but glad to be here. I like the GW and really didn't want to work at the Kea Lani today. I had a long day yesterday, and it's always a long day at the Kea Lani. Nothing against Joe at all, but they have a manager over there who just makes everyone's life miserable and I just didn't feel like putting up with his crap today...
Anyway, very stoked to be doing this show instead - besides, this is a better room. Makes the show a lot more enjoyable when you have a good room to work with, ya know? |
