Been with them for the last few days at the Kea Lani, just striking the thing this morning before going over to the Four Seasons with Rhema. It was cool. Me and three laptops for Monday - three techs, three rooms, for a 1-off (set, show, strike) it was a piece of cake. Tuesday was the big show with just me and a laptop in the back stage area - two 9X12 screens, two projectors, two wireless mics straight into house sound. The show was only an hour long, so once the band kicked in I just sat backstage and babysat the screens till 23:30...
Their people were fairly green, but really cool and open to ideas. We had a lot of last minute changes on both days, and they were really open to suggestion for several things. Their .ppt's were computer generated, so the few times I had to edit something, or add a slide, I had to take a few more steps than I usually do - but that was the only glitch, it just took a little more time is all... |
