OK - Check this out...

500 GB, 7200 RPM, 16MB Cache, and it is a 3 port USB hub on top of all of that!!!

Are you kidding?! I finally have something large enough to store all my MP4 movies, music (I moved my iTunes folder over there), photos (I moved my iPhoto folder over there), and extra apps...

I run my video apps off this things and they just rip! FinalCut, Handbrake, and MacTheRipper do twice the work in half the time on this thing!!!

I'm almost done moving all my DVD's to MP4's with subtitles - and it looks like they will all fit on this thing, along with everything else, with plenty of room to spare...

Another few kickers for me:
1) It's shaped like a MacMini, and has rubber in the top and bottom around the edges (so it doesn't slip) - this allows me to use it as a "podium pad". This saves room in my bag...
2) It's the perfect size for my bag's compartments
3) It comes with a short cable - so, as I'm using it as a podium pad, there is no extra cable flopping all over the place. If you look at the picture, above, the back of the HD would be facing to my left as I'm looking at my screen - and the cable would go directly "up" into the USB port on my laptop...
4) It has a "lock" opening, which, when being used as a podium pad, is directly next to the one on my mac - so both locks are in one spot. I love that this thing can be locked!!!
5) The USB hub is really good - I have a few HD's which are suppose to be able to start up via USB 2.0. My Mac never powered them up (I always had to plug in their A/C), but this beast drives the smaller HD's with no problem at all...
6) The fan is quite, but works really well - you can actually feel the air out the back of this thing...
