I finally completed getting all my Wintel laptops up2date. There's really no glitches as of yet. I normally update the ZA Anti-Virus, Spybot, and OS everytime I boot them - so this update doesn't count. The programs I've updated are Adobe Reader & SVG Viewer, Ethereal, Mozilla, and OpenOffice.org...
I killed Picture Gear Studio, Telescreen Pro, and Sonic Stage cause I don't use them - I already have severeal programs on these machines that do the same job and do it better, so I did not need them...
I'm looking for the updates for:
Alarm, Network Stumbler, NMapWin, Orbitron, and Registry Robot. I don't know if an update exist for any of these programs yet (I may have the most recent version), but I'm looking anyway...
The Ethereal update was dissapointing - It doesn't view in live capture anymore. You have to stop it to view it. I always thought that this was the best feature of ethereal, the ability to see what's going on in real time. I'm gonna have to write something or tweek the code in Ethereal to get what I want from now on I guess... |
